About Us

We’re just an average family of 5, 2 working parents (PA – Physician Associate and IT project manager) – 3 kids … with a super over scheduled and busy life. So we’ve decided we should change it up a little (or even a lot). We took our first travel/gap year in 2017 when the kids were 3, 7 & 10 and we’re going again in 2022 (kids 7, 11, & 15). This time we’re adding in boat time on our 50 foot Gulf Star that we saved after Hurricane Sally, house flips, you tube & more home schooling. We may have even figured out a little more about this website stuff … maybe
